I was at a function with some newly acquired friends they were women and this function was apparently a fundraiser for somebody's kid's team and I was sharing one of the motel rooms with one of the newly acquired friends so we went to go to dinner and this other woman that I barely knew that was part of my new friends sat down at a table where and she had onions on the plate and then another part of the plate was onions mixed in with rice I'm allergic to onions in real life but I wouldn't took my hand didn't even ask her permission scooped up onions and rice and put it in my mouth was horrified as what I did and I walked away down the hall and went into the room to hide
This dream could suggest various interpretations, but let's explore a few possible meanings.
Firstly, the newly acquired friends in the dream may symbolize the desire to expand your social circle or seek new connections in waking life. The function being a fundraiser for a kid's team signifies a sense of support and involvement, indicating that you may be seeking a cause or group to align yourself with.
The presence of onions, despite your real-life allergy, can symbolize potentially harmful or uncomfortable situations or relationships that you willingly (represented by not asking for permission) expose yourself to. Eating the onions mixed with rice could indicate a willingness to compromise your boundaries or neglect your personal needs for the sake of fitting in or maintaining these connections.
Feeling horrified afterward suggests regret or a realization of the consequences of your actions. This feeling may stem from a fear of losing yourself or becoming overwhelmed by these new relationships or situations. Seeking refuge in the room represents a desire for seclusion and self-reflection, as you may feel the need to reassess your choices and determine what is truly best for you.
Overall, this dream could be a reflection of your subconscious grappling with the tension between your social desires and the need to prioritize your own well-being and boundaries. It may be beneficial to consider what aspects of your waking life resonate with these themes and reflect on finding a balance between connecting with others and taking care of yourself.
